My daughter started on tabla here and just played her first piece at her school annual day. The teacher's patience is the real instrument — she actually looks forward to practice now.
A neighbourhood music school for classical roots and contemporary voice — guitar, tabla, harmonium, keyboard, vocal & more, taught one-to-one or in small batches by Sangeet Praveen and our resident faculty.

From the first sa-re-ga-ma to a stage performance — choose a path. Every course runs in three streams: foundations, intermediate, and a performance track.
Built for focus. Live recording-ready acoustics, instruments kept tuned and ready, and a layout that puts every student within an arm's reach of the mentor.
Maximum five learners per batch. Most teachers know each student by name and by their hand.
Weekday evenings, weekend mornings, plus an online slot for working professionals based outside the NCR.
Quarterly student concerts, school-day showcases, and Diwali / annual day performances around the colony.
Optional grading via Prayag Sangit Samiti, Trinity, or Rockschool, with mock-exam preparation.
RaagRas is led by Sangeet Praveen (M.A. Music), a Hindustani vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with over twenty years of personal practice and performance. He opened the academy this year to bring that experience — and the faculty he has assembled in guitar, keyboard, tabla and dance — into one room. The belief they share: classical training is the surest path, even for a student who only wants to sing a Bollywood ballad on Antakshari night.
Pulled straight from chai-time conversations and our Google Business listing — what students and parents say about their first months at the studio.

I joined to "finally" learn guitar at forty-two. Three months in I'm playing fingerstyle. Small class, real attention, no rushing through to the next song.
Praveen sir teaches vocal the old way — sa-re-ga first, songs later. It took a month before I sounded right, but a year before I sounded like me.
Found this academy on a walk down Ashoka Road. The studio is properly acoustically treated — not the usual living-room setup. Two kids enrolled within a week.
Took keyboard lessons after twenty years away from music. The teacher rebuilt my fundamentals without ever making me feel like a beginner. Worth every rupee.
My son was shy about singing in front of anyone. Six months at RaagRas and he sang at the colony Diwali function. That's the only review I need to leave.
Open Tue–Sun, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Call or WhatsApp to fix a slot — we'll match you with the right teacher.
